A Strange and Delicious Sandwich
This evening my partner came home with an odd assortment of groceries.
It turns out they had purchased everything needed to make the Jeff Daniels 4-Ingredient Internet Oddity seen here.
To save you the click/reading time this sandwich consists of a generous amount of creamy peanut butter (the bad for you half sugar type), BBQ sauce, and sour cream & cheddar potato chips on a greek style pita.
It sounds awful at first but it actually tasted alright and has a pleasant texture. The BBQ sauce almost becomes a jelly with the sweetness and the chips basically just add crunch. If one didn't know better it tastes like a PB&J with crunchy bacon.
We saw this on YouTube when Colbert had Daniels on post Tonight Show at Monroe County. I had no idea my partner had intentions of making it however.
Will I eat it again? Probably not. I think I will be enjoying the fresh pita bread with some chicken, cucumber, and tzatziki sauce instead.
Feeling amused.
